Four Tips For Choosing the Right Carhartt Coats For You .

1 ) What should I know about finding a coat?

When looking for a coat at Carhartt Coats, you need to ask yourself some questions. What do I need the coat for? What purpose is it to serve? What materials is it made out of? Is it washable? What size do I need? Does it come with a hood or without? These are just some of the questions that you will need to ask. Our Carhartt Coats are made to fit many different sizes from small to 3 X, so there is a good many coats that will fit most men easily. We also have the gloves and headgear that go with these jackets and coats and most connect with a simple snap system for ease of use.

2 ) What do I need to look for as far as sizing is concerned?

When looking to coat size, you should always fit a coat to your size. You can figure out your coat size by making a measurement of the fullest part of your chest. The resultant measurement should give you an idea of what size that you need to look for in a Carhartt Coats selection. This is to be done, if you have no idea of what size to wear. For other sizes, you simply would need to match one of our Carhartt Coats to your size. Usual sizes are S, M L, X-Large, 2X and 3X. Some of our lines do not carry the full range of sizes, so go up to the next size.

3 ) How do I choose the length?

The length of our Carhartt Coats is waist length, so there is no need to decide what length to choose from. Our waist fitting coats are the most popular coat that we sell. We don't sell dusters, only waist length coats. The reason why we do not sell any other length is simply put, our Carhartt Coats are work coats and another length would just be ridiculous to sell. It is easier for a coat to be waist length, especially if it is a work coat. Anything longer would get in the way and possibly cause an accident when working. That is not what anyone would want in a working coat.

4 ) How Do I Choose The Type?

Choosing a Carhartt Coats coat is up to you as far as what type you should get. Bear in mind that all of our coats can be used in the winter. It depends on what types of temperatures that you will be in and personal preference. If you want an insulated coat, then the Arctic line is your best bet. If you are working in extreme conditions, then our Carhartt Coats Extreme line is for you. These rugged coats hold up well in extreme weather. If you want an all purpose coat, then our Fleece line is the best for you. So it is dependent upon the weather and what you will be doing as far as making a coat choice from our coat line.
